The 30 years of international food and wine contest A tavola sulla spiaggia which every summer brings on the ‘noble sands’ of Forte dei Marm Vips, star chefs, winemakers, famous journalists and, of course, the bathers of Versilia described in a book trough the stories and the anecdotes, the images of the large photo catalogue of its founder, Gianni Mercatali.
On the front line the typical ‘sand recipes’ of the best chefs: from the tomatoes, musky octopus and cinnamon brittle by Gianfranco Vissani to the buffalo mozzarella with uva fragola’s sorbet by David Oldani; from the smoked bonito with ‘nduja by Gennaro Esosito to the fillet of amberjack by Riccardo Monco… For a total of 26 exclusive recipes, each of which has been matched with a great wine.
