A journey through the most important events of the last century, from the architectural changes that revolutionized the city, such as the construction of the Artemio Franchi Stadium and the Santa Maria Novella Station, to World War II, passing through the dramatic images of the 1966 flood but also the touching ones of the Angels of Mud, the birth of the great Florentine brands, such as Gucci and Ferragamo, and the first Italian fashion shows organized by Giovanni Battista Giorgini, to the international personalities who visited the city. Magnificent photographic works introduced by Eugenio Giani, president of the Region of Tuscany, together with Arturo Galansino, director of Palazzo Strozzi, and accompanied by contributions from authorities and personalities such as Marco Casamonti for architecture, Stefania Ricci and Eva Desiderio for fashion and Cristina Acidini forart.
