For the occasion of ‘La Capannina’‘s 90 years : a large-format coffee table book which tells all about this myth is coming out. It is the first official book dedicated to Forte dei Marmi’s iconic club; a special place, born in 1929 by the idea of Achille Franceschi. He wanted to clean up an old cabin on the beach and to equip it with a bar counter, gramophone and tables. Even today, thanks to Gherardo Guidi, it is the oldest club in the world. A collection volume, thought to the Versilia’s lovers, and not only. 144 pages with more than 130 photos, many of which are unpublished, portray the projecting of this incredible story and the great characters that have stopped there from the 20s to today.
