The book has been realized to celebrate the site-specific in Vicolo dell’Oro in Florence, a few steps away from Ponte Vecchio.
The cover is out-and-out work of art. The artist and one of the most important textile industries imagined it exclusively for the book. The fabric is made up of carded wool lamé and polyester which reproduces the forms of Waterbones.
The cover is available in two colors: grey and black. Loris Cecchini was born in Milan in 1969; currently he lives and works between Milan and Tuscany. He showed his masterpiece all around the world through personal exhibitions in high-profile headquarters, such as: Palais de Tokyo in Paris, PS1 in New York, Shanghai Duolun MoMa, Centro Pecci in Prato, Musée d?Art Moderne Métropole of Saint-Etienne.
Cecchini participated to numerous international artistic events, like the Biennale of Venice, Taipei Biennal, Biennal Valencia, Shanghai Biennale.
